Cold Busting Essential Oil Recipe

wpid-2015-02-22_12.56.21.jpgI lerve essential oils.  I use them for everything.  I diffuse them, use them to make my own skincare, use them for making my own cleaning products, and use them for ailments.  I have my very own apothecary in my bathroom!  Need a cure-all tonic?  I've got one for you!

J is in daycare as most of my readers know, and, with daycare, comes CONSTANT COLDS.  My gawd.  So many colds.  Below is a recipe I use on J's back, chest, and feet every morning and night to help alleviate symptoms and prevent future colds.

This is called the COLD BUSTER SALVE!

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil

5 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil

10 Drops Breathe Blend

5 Drops Lemon Essential Oil

2-5 Drops of Germ Fighter Blend (same as Thieves)

[You can add Lime EO too, it is good for a runny nose and/or congestion]

Get these essential oils here.
Aromatherapy Top 6 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade Basic Sampler Essential Oil Gift Set- 6/10 Ml (Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Orange, Peppermint)
1 Small Jar

Directions:

1.  Get a small jar and add the coconut oil

2.  Add the EOs

3.  Mix

4.  Use on back, chest, and feet as much as desired.

5.  You can keep it at room temperature if you like it softer or in the fridge if you're looking for a salve-type consistency.  Your call.
