Stay Motivated as an Entrepreneur

When you are running your own business (or trying to!), it is hard to stay motivated.  Maybe you have built a great following, but it turns out that your following isn't biting on your product.  Maybe you have an amazing product, but are having a hard time connecting with people and getting it out there.  There is always a way around your problem.

1)  If your following isn't biting on your product --> Listen to your audience.  Talk to them, and find out what it is that they need.  Maybe you were offering a service, but what they really want is an education to learn how to do that service themselves.  Maybe the product or service that you're offering is something they don't need.  Find out what they do need, and offer that!

2)  If you don't have an audience, you can't sell to them -->  This is a golden tip I learned as a marketer.  Build your audience and then your product/service.  Before you start selling, gain a following on social media (which is easier than you think).   Build your email list.  Without an email list, you don't have a direct channel to contact your potential clients.

3)  Stay Motivated --> The easiest thing in the world to do is give up.  Don't.  Keep going.  If you fall on your face, get back up, readjust, and kick ass.
